LAB Publishers is committed to maintaining the integrity, transparency, and quality of the scholarly record. Authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher are expected to adhere to recognized standards of ethical conduct throughout the publication process.
LAB Publishers follows the principles and recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and supports internationally accepted standards in scholarly publishing.
LAB Publishers does not tolerate plagiarism, data fabrication, data falsification, duplicate publication, copyright infringement, or any form of unethical publishing conduct. The manipulation of scientific images, figures, tables, or text for the purpose of misleading readers or influencing the peer review or publication process is strictly prohibited.
Authors submitting manuscripts to LAB Publishers journals are expected to confirm that:
- the submitted work is original;
- the manuscript has not been previously published and is not under consideration elsewhere;
- all sources and previously published material are appropriately cited;
- permission has been obtained for the use of copyrighted or third-party material where required;
- the work does not infringe upon the rights, privacy, or intellectual property of others;
- all data presented are accurate, authentic, and have not been manipulated inappropriately;
- all conflicts of interest and sources of funding are disclosed at the time of submission;
- all applicable ethical standards for research involving human participants or animals have been followed;
- all listed authors have made appropriate scholarly contributions and approve the submitted version of the manuscript;
- any material errors identified before or after publication are promptly communicated to the Editorial Office.
Authors are expected to disclose any potential overlap with previously published or submitted work. Where overlap exists, it should be clearly identified and appropriately referenced at the time of submission.
Editors and reviewers evaluate manuscripts exclusively on the basis of scientific merit, originality, relevance, and clarity, without discrimination based on race, gender, nationality, institutional affiliation, political beliefs, or other personal characteristics of the authors.
Editors, reviewers, and editorial staff must maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and may not use unpublished material for personal research purposes without the express written consent of the authors.
LAB Publishers considers allegations of scientific misconduct seriously. Suspected cases of plagiarism, fabrication, falsification, duplicate publication, unethical research practices, or other breaches of publication ethics will be investigated by the editorial team and, where appropriate, in consultation with reviewers, institutions, or relevant authorities.
All investigations will be conducted fairly, confidentially, and in accordance with recognized ethical publishing practices. Where necessary, the journal may issue corrections, expressions of concern, retractions, or other editorial notices to maintain the integrity of the scientific record.
LAB Publishers encourages authors, editors, and reviewers to follow internationally recognized publication ethics standards, including the recommendations of:
- the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE);
- the Council of Science Editors (CSE);
- the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE).
